Lean Technologies 2013 conference will bring academic society and professionals interested in Lean Philosophy. Conference will be held from 5th to 6th september 2013 at Faculty of Organizational Sciences University of Belgrade, Serbia.
Organization of Lean Technologies conference is a part of Tempus project „Production and Profitability improvement in Serbia Enterprises by adopting Lean Thinking Philosophy and strengthening Enterprise – Academia connections“ (LeanEA). Participants in project are: University of Belgrade, University of Novi Sad, University of Kragujevac, University of Nottingham, Chalmers University of Technology, University of Ljubljana; and partners – enterprises: Tarkett Eastern Europe Backa Palanka, Japan Tobacco International A.D. Senta, Metalac Company Gornji Milanovac, Factory of Automotive Parts Gornji Milanovac, Unimet Kac, Gomma Line d.o.o. Kragujevac.
The main objective of this project is to enhance the quality and relevance of higher education and to build up the capacity of higher education institutions in Serbia, in particular for international cooperation, for a permanent modernisation process, for orientation towards offering practical knowledge and skills, and for connecting with the society in general.
The goals of the conference:
- to gather the researchers and practicioners from universities, faculties, scientific institutes or other organizations,
- to enable presentation of new knowledge and exchange of practical experience in the field of lean production, and
- to propose theoretically developed and practically tested solutions for manufacturing and services and business improvements achieved.
The conference will be held from September 5th -6th 2013 at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences in Belgrade.
